About Us

What is HCR?

HAN Competitive Robotics (HCR) is a student team at HAN University in the Netherlands. We design, build, and compete with featherweight robots in European robotics events.

Our team brings together students from engineering programs including Embedded Systems and Mechanical Engineering. Together we work on real projects and develop practical skills.

Competition Robots

Featherweight robots built for durability, power, and competitive performance.

02

Custom Electronics

Control systems, motor drivers, and power management for demanding conditions.

03

Kinetic Systems

High energy kinetic systems including drums, spinners, and hammers for competitive use.

Team Structure

Engineering Divisions

Our team is organized into divisions, each focusing on key parts of robot development.

Mechanical Engineering

CAD design, structural analysis, and manufacturing of robot chassis and kinetic systems.

Electrical Engineering

Power distribution, motor control, wiring, and electrical safety systems.

Embedded Systems
